More than one million Canadians served in the Second World War, demonstrating remarkable sacrifice in the pursuit of peace and freedom. Harry Scramstad, brother to Bob. I. R. Scramstad and Otto Scramstad, and part of the Dufferin Gang is one of these Canadian soldiers. While the contributions of many of these men and women live on through memory, oral tradition, and the historical record, countless others remain undocumented. Sharing information about these individuals is essential to ensuring they are properly remembered and honoured.
